James Cameron
James Cameron James Cameron is one of the most successful and notorious filmmakers in Hollywood’s storied history. His resume boasts a number of contemporary classics, including 1984’s The Terminator, 1986’s Aliens and 1997’s Titanic. His cutting-edge work in the realm of special effects has influenced countless filmmakers and has earned him a wealth of technical awards, while his movies have launched the careers of such familiar faces as Arnold Schwarzenegger, Bill Paxton and Edward Furlong.

Charlize Theron
Charlize Theron It's a common complaint amongst actresses who started out as models or beauty queens that no one takes them seriously. They're seen, they believe, merely as eye candy, girlfriend material, lacking the talent to take on the meatier female roles. Many the more bloody minded among them rebel against this stereotyping, work hard to widen their scope, and eventually succeed in earning their peers' respect. Michelle Pfeiffer was a glowing example of this, and the first four years of the new millennium saw two others follow her. First Halle Berry took the Best Actress Oscar for Monster's Ball then, two years later, Charlize Theron for Monster.

Fantastic Mr Fox Movie Review
Fantastic Mr Fox Movie Review This is much more of a Wes Anderson film than the Roald Dahl classic on which it's based. That's not necessarily a bad thing, but it could cause problems with fans of the book. The central themes are still there, but this is essentially a quirky dysfunctional family romp.

Gary Oldman
Gary Oldman Gary Oldman is one of Hollywood's true chameleons and a master of dialects. His diverse body of work includes critically praised roles as Sid Vicious, Beethoven, Dracula, Lee Harvey Oswald, as well as Sirius Black and Lt. James Gordon in the Harry Potter and Batman franchises.
Despite his reputation as an actor's actor who can play any role with great personal commitment, Gary Oldman has never been nominated for an Oscar. His greatest triumph probably came from having written and directed 1997's Nil by Mouth, which won two BAFTA awards, one for Best Original Screenplay and the Alexander Korda Award for Best British Film.

Cameron Diaz
Cameron Diaz “I’m not 25 years old anymore, nor do I want to be. I wouldn’t even want to go back to being 30. You know what I mean? That journey, I’ve done it already. I don’t want to do it again. It’s a lot of work to get through it, and I am excited about moving forward. I think that people get caught up in getting back to some place that they already passed or to a place where you cannot stay.”
Cameron Diaz was born on the 30th of August, 1972, in San Diego, California. Her father, Emilio Diaz, was a second generation Cuban American and worked as a foreman for an oil company. Her mother, Billie, was an import/export broker of English, German and Native American descent (a complex blend of bloodlines that helps to explain Cameron’s outrageous good looks). There was also an older sister, Chimene.

Sandra Bullock
Sandra Bullock "I love humor. I always will fall back on humor. That’s something that I think you can’t ever get enough of and, if it’s done well, it’s great. When it’s bad, it’s horrible."
Sandra Annette Bullock was born in Washington D.C. on July 26, 1964. This part-German, part-Alabamian was raised in Arlington, Virginia. The oldest of two, Sandra, her baby sister and their mom used to travel to Europe often because her mom was a renowned opera singer. Her mother’s love of music transferred to Sandra early on and she often performed in local children’s choirs or alongside her own mother.

Tom Hanks
Tom Hanks Do you need any arguments that Tom Hanks is one of the most accomplished and successful actors around? Consider this; he has a winning streak of 10 consecutive movies he has starred in that have grossed over $100 domestically in the US. That’s a record. Remember The Green Mile, Toy Story and Toy Story 2, Saving Private Ryan, You’ve Got Mail, Apollo 13, Forrest Gump, Philadelphia, Sleepless in Seattle, A League of Their Own, and Cast Away? If that wasn’t enough, how about his two Oscars for Best Actor? Even among A-list actors, he tops the list.

Rachel Weisz
Rachel Weisz The new millennium certainly saw British actresses making an impact in Hollywood. Following in the footsteps of multiple-Oscar nominees Kate Winslet and Emily Watson came Kate Beckinsale, and, of course, that scourge of mummies everywhere, Rachel Weisz. Though she broke through in action roles, Weisz has, from the very start of her acting career, exhibited a far wider emotional range than all of her peers and thoroughly deserved the Oscar she received for her portrayal of a passionate, flighty and doomed activist in John Le Carre’s The Constant Gardener.

Gwyneth Paltrow
Gwyneth Paltrow Aside from being a tall, blond beauty, Gwyneth Paltrow is known for her starring roles in Proof (2005), Running with Scissors (2006), Iron Man (2008), as well for being the recipient of a coveted Oscar for her role in 1998’s Shakespeare in Love.

Harrison Ford
Harrison Ford If Harrison Ford had listened to the advice of studio heads early in his career, he would have remained a carpenter and never gone on to star in some of Hollywood’s biggest films and become one of the industry’s most bankable stars. Born July 13, 1942, in Chicago and raised in a middle-class suburb, he had an average childhood. An introverted loner, he was popular with girls but picked on by school bullies. Ford quietly endured their everyday tortures until he one day lost his cool and beat the tar out of the gang leader responsible for his being repeatedly thrown off an embankment. He had no special affinity for films and usually only went to see them on dates because they were inexpensive and dark.

Keira Nightley
Keira Nightley Few actresses enjoy the kind of success Keira Knightley saw in 2003. First, her major picture starring debut, Pirates Of The Caribbean, entered the all-time Top 20 of box-office hits. Then, due to this success, her earlier low-budget effort, Bend It Like Beckham, already a cult smash, found its release widened dramatically, taking it into undreamed of profit. Her rise in a few short months would be nothing short of phenomenal. And still she was only 18.

James McAvoy
James McAvoy Hailed in 2006 by director Kevin Macdonald as the world’s “best British actor under 30 without question,” Glasgow native James McAvoy’s talent for playing flawed yet sympathetic characters made him an actor to watch for the new millennium. Officially starting his screen career at age 16 in the 1995 thriller, “The Near Room,” it would be another eight years before McAvoy landed his big break in the 2003 Sci-Fi Channel original miniseries, “Children of Dune.” After a handful of well-received television roles, McAvoy’s feature career took off in 2005, starting with a major role in “The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe” (2005), followed closely with a truly impressive turn as an ethically ambiguous physician in the critical hit, “The Last King of Scotland” (2006).

Brad Pitt
Brad Pitt With looks that have inspired numerous People magazine covers, Internet fansites, and paparazzi blitzkriegs, Brad Pitt can count himself as one of the luckiest men in the world. One of the most gifted actors of his generation, he makes $10 million per movie, enjoys international fame and recognition and has hordes of women on bended knee for him.

Bruce Willis
Bruce Willis Bruce Willis has come a long way from his Broadway roots to become everyone’s favorite underdog action hero. What makes everyone like Bruce is that no matter what he does, it always seems like he’s having a good time doing it. He is living the American dream and he knows it, so why not live it up? He is the antithesis of any of the seemingly by-the-book, serious Hollywood actors.

Milla Yovovich
Milla Yovovich Having appeared on over 100 various magazine covers and in hit movies like The Fifth Element with Bruce Willis and Resident Evil, Milla Jovovich is now a successful superstar who flings herself everywhere from movies to fashion shows.
She is what the entertainment industry would call versatile. Her extremely successful modeling career helped pave the way for her future projects in acting and in the music industry.

Josh Hartnett
Josh Hartnett One of the crop of obscenely attractive young stars to pop up during the late 1990s, Josh Hartnett has the kind of strong-jawed, puppy-eyed looks that make him equally suited for both movie stardom and Tommy Hilfiger ads.
Born Joshua Daniel Hartnett in St. Paul, Minnesota, on July 21, 1978 as the oldest of four children, Josh Hartnett experienced a quiet and comfortable upbringing.

Lena Headey
Lena Headey The 33-year-old actress has more than 40 film and television credits to her name. It is her on-screen charm that has captivated numerous audiences and has allowed her to win role after role throughout her career. Having worked consistently from the age of 17, when she was cast, while still at school, to star opposite Jeremy Irons in the film Waterland, Lena says her successes has been a string of happy accidents. Lacking the fearsome ambition of such fellow Brits as Catherine Zeta-Jones or Kate Beckinsale, she has nonetheless played a string of leading roles over the years.

Lucy Liu
Lucy Liu Lucy Liu was never catapulted to stardom; she had to work her way up from the bottom. Since she had to deal with typecasting and degrading roles to get where she is today, the fact that she takes her career in stride with a genuine smile says a lot about her personality.
Despite her enormous success on the television and the big screen, she doesn’t want to be regarded as an ambassador for Asian Americans in the entertainment industry.

Jason Statham
Jason Statham Broke into acting in such an unusual way, Jason Statham has really found his path in the film industry through his performance in action pictures and soared to be one of the most popular actors of the genre by the 21st century, thanks to his past professions which included that of a black market salesman.

Leonardo DiCaprio
Leonardo DiCaprio The Nineties saw the rise of some big, big stars. At different points Brad Pitt, Nicolas Cage, Jim Carrey, Will Smith and Adam Sandler stormed the Hollywood firmament with a string of massive hits. But none of them enjoyed the kind of fame achieved by Leonardo DiCaprio.
Beginning the decade as a promising newcomer, he ended it with “Titanic”, the biggest smash in cinema history, and a worldwide army of teenage fans so crazed and committed to their idol they had critics recalling the manic days of Beatlemania.

Christmas Adventures
Macaulay Culkin as Kevin in Chris Columbus’ Home Alone (1990) Once a year all of us forget about our everyday problems and become children again waiting for the miracle to come. It can happen only at Christmas and you should be very careful not to miss it because even the most common event is likely to change your life completely. Let’s think of some likely Christmas situations and decide what you can do about them:
